My First Rainbow Cake

Ever since it was launched by one bakery in my town, I've been dying to taste it. Its colorful layers (well, it is rainbow cake, so it should be colorful like rainbow, right? hihihi....) was really tempting.

After months and months dreaming and imagining, finally I found it while shopping at Carrefour, one of hypermarkets in my town. I bought two pieces of it with different topping, and ate one of them while waiting for my sister's flight.

How did it taste? The first one I ate was quite nice. Maybe because I ate it immediately after it got out from freezer. Well, it was rather too sweet for my taste. Not the bread, but the cream between the layers...it was too sugary.

The second one was kept in the refrigerator for days, before I decided to eat it. Of course, it had become quite hard and almost tasteless....hihihi....

Never mind, I know now the taste of a Rainbow Cake. It won't haunt me anymore....hihihi....

While Waiting in Line

Doraemon with the bamboo-copter
One day, while waiting for the regular bus on her way home, my sister put up this status in her Facebook: "....wish I could fly..."

When I read her status, a thought came into my mind... What if there were many other people wished the same at the same time? Meet a traffic jammed or wait for a never-come-bus...gets frustrated and then yells in Doraemon's way: "Bamboo-copterrrr......!!!!" Off you go and fly with a kind of helicopter blades on the top of your head..... Trouble is, you won't be alone..... You look in front of you, there are many other people start to go up the sky - just like you. You look back, the same thing happens there, too. And in no time at all, you'll get stuck in the same traffic jammed...only this time on the sky.....haizzzzzzz.....

Then I looked for another alternative. Again a thought came into my mind...maybe it should be better to wish having a magical skill like a genie. Just blink!!!...next, you'll be where you wanna be....

And - once again - a wicked thought came into my mind. What if there are other people wish the same??? An image came into my mind...... You blink and disappear, then out of no where : "Bangggg....!!!!" You just collided your head with another person who did the same magical "blink"...... Hihihi, not a safe way either....hihihi...

So, for any of you who's standing in line for something and wishing for a short-cut, please think that there are maybe other persons who wish the same. Imagine what chaos will appear for the result. Hopefully, you'll end up laughing, entertained by your own imagination and suddenly find that you're next in line..... Oh, how fast the time has flown.....hihihi...

Strawberries!!!

Taken with a Sony Ericcson J108i Cedar
A week ago, while I fought against the flu bug who tried to infiltrate my health, suddenly I was longing for a taste of strawberries. My eyes kept searching along the fruit stalls at a market I passed on my way to work. But all I saw were mangoes, melons, oranges, paw-paws....no strawberries. Hmmmm, I thought, maybe the season had already past for it. The alternative was, buying a fresh juice.....but fresh juices without ice was too heavy for me, and ice was not good for my health at the time. It would weaken my defense against the flu bug...hehehe...

Yesterday morning, suddenly I saw a fruit stall sold strawberries in mini packages. Unfortunately, I couldn't pull over, as I was in the middle of a busy road and my time was rather limited. So, this morning I decided to try looking for the stall again. I found it and the strawberries was still available....furthermore, I had a chance to stop and buy it...yay!!! I bought two mini boxes, each contained 15-20 strawberries. I planned to open and share one box with my colleagues at the office, and bring home the other one.

At the office, I got another surprise. A colleague who had a leave yesterday brought me a box of strawberries, too....hehehe... She saw it while visiting some place and remembered that I had hunted for it for days. So, she bought it for me...hehehe...

So, today I have 3 boxes of strawberries in my hand. I had opened the one from my colleague, ate some of it as a snack...hihihi... Can't be too much, as a friend reminded me, I have to be careful with my stomach while savor it...hehehe... It tasted yummy!!!!

Easter Week and Illness

I belong to a catholic youth choir which is always on duty for Holy Saturday and Christmas Eve masses. And it has became a joke between my friends - especially in Altos - that I'm always fallen ill close to the due date of our performance. Usually, I get caught by a bad cough...that makes me have to struggle hard between breathe, coughing and singing.

This year, as usual, I became very cautious when we reached two weeks before the Holy Saturday (April 7). After the general rehearsal at April 3, I was ready to congratulate myself. Because beside the sore throat due to the intensive practices we had, it looked like for the first time I would be able to perform in 100% healthy condition...... How wrong I was!!!!

During two weeks prior to Easter, the weather was changing quickly between cold and humid. I was on duty for playing organ during the Holy Thursday Mass. That was the first time I felt that the AC inside our church was too cold. In addition, I sat exactly under the AC vent. I went home that night feeling so frozen and cramp.

When I attended the Good Friday Mass the following day, I was so dismayed finding the AC was still too cold for me....even after I wore a shawl to warm myself. In the middle of the mass, I found out red spots appeared on both of my arms. Great, I thought, my skin began to cry out. After the mass, I checked and found out that the spots also appeared on my thighs. Great, sooo great - I said to my family - apparently I got the skin allergic thanks to the freezing temperature of the AC. Years before (on my university days), I got the same illness when I was assigned to stay at a little town during a very cold weather.

On Saturday morning, April 7, 12 hours before our performance, I still felt normal. I drove my family to visit Dad's grave early morning. Then went to have the car being washed, and also bought a special coconut for the skin rash. I started to feel worse by midday, feeling so weak...and the rash kept spreading all over my body. So, I took an anti-allergic pill and slept. I said to myself, if I couldn't wake up in time for the choir, so be it... Surprisingly, I woke up at 8pm, enough time to get ready and join my choir. Was I feeling better? Nope!! In fact, I woke up with a fever...that made me doubted whether I could make it. But with each step I took in readying myself, I felt that the fever went away. So be it....I wore the uniform, doubled with a shawl and went to sing for the Holy Saturday Mass. Of course, half way of the mass, I felt my energy being drained....that I had to fight hard to keep on till the end.

The illness stroke back on Sunday....as usual, after the important event has passed by.....hehehe... I began to have a high fever during the afternoon, that made my face very red according to my sister. She was worried that the skin allergic could be actually a Rubella (German measles). Haizzzzzz....I could have spread it to so many people if it was true.

So, on Monday morning, I went to a general practitioner near my house to make sure what my illness was. Apparently I had made the doctor confused..hehehehe... But after checking my condition, he said that it wasn't Rubella. Just a nasty skin allergic with complication. Thank God!!! But the high fever made me weak for three days and had to struggle for a week to regain my 100% condition.

Apparently, I still can't celebrate Easter without having sick.....hahaha...maybe next year...we'll see....hehehe...

Spring Cleaning on Weekend

Jan 23, 2012 in Indonesia was a holiday to celebrate the Chinese New Year. As it was also Monday, it meant that we, Indonesian, had a long weekend.....that is who works 5 days a week, like me....hehehehe....

Originally, I planned to visit my sister at Yogyakarta with my nephew and mom. But, due to a bad planning, I couldn't get any train tickets. It had been sold out since two days before I queued...that's one week before the D-Day.... Apparently, now everyone watches each long-weekend-holiday on the calendar.....not just me....hahahaha....

So, we decided to stay at home and did the usual chores we do on every weekend. Started on Saturday morning.... After delivered my nephew to his school, I took the car and had it washed at a car-wash nearby. I only had to wait for 30 minutes to have it done, but due to the lack of sleep on the night before....added to the holiday syndrome....I felt sooooo sleepy. After I was back at home, I immediately went back to the bed and slept till after midday.....hihihi... Day-1 was spent mostly on the bed....hahaha...

On Sunday, I woke up quite earlier than my usual time.  So, I decided to do my laundry. At first, only my clothes..... Then, as I had time more than enough and the sun shone brightly, I decided to change my sheet and my nephew's too. While I walked by the front window of the living room, I noticed that the curtain needed a washing as well. In the end, I did the washing for almost 2,5 hours....one hour longer than usual... I just realised how many my washing were, when it all had dried up and needed ironing....hahahaha... All I could say was: "Yikes!!!!"

After did the washing, I swept and washed the floor of our house. All was cleaned, then it was the time for me to clean myself up. I washed my hair, scrub my face and body.....a thorough bath, that is....hehehe...

At Sunday evening, after finally all had finished, I looked around. I got a fresh and clean sheet on my bed. All of my working gears were ready to wear. The house felt so fresh. And I still had ONE DAY holiday left.....yay!!!!

2012: E & R

Finally!!!! This is the year that I've been waiting for....since I heard those ancient prophecies about this year. Personally, I don't really worry about the doomsday that many had predicted. I'm more interested in the Galactic Phenomenon that many believe will happen in the end of this year. If there will happen many natural disasters (earthquakes, flood, hard rain, long dry season, etc.), I believe that those are caused by the phenomenon.

Anyway, I don't want to talk about something that hasn't happened, yet....hihihi... We'll see one event in each day and let's pray that we will have the strength necessary for us to get through to the end of this year and celebrate New Year again.

I saw the record of my writing and found out that last year I published only 11 times.....barely once monthly...hehehe... Many of my materials left in draft state and unfinished. Many more were unwritten, stuck and rotten in my head. So, I failed to gain a goal in my last-year-resolution : WRITING MORE. Will I write more this year? I fervently hope so....hehehe.... I should try to dig deeper into my brain and get those unwritten material out into the air.

Another last-year-resolution: FIND A BUSINESS FOR MY OWN. In the middle of last year, Mom and I had decided to build a home-laundry as a core for a later-on business: boarding house. After got a massive headache in finding a perfect name for all-purposes, finally before Christmas we agreed to one business name. Hopefully, we can formally open the business in this month.

So, I think I will concentrate in those two during this year. I really hope that Life will loan me Its strength to push, and push, and push and make the wheel run throughout this year.
And for the readers all over the world, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hope you're as excited as me in welcoming 2012....:-)

First of May

I knew this song for the first time when I was studying classical organ as a little girl. I liked it because it's a sweet song and easy to play, of course...hehehe....

When I started to learn English in my secondary years, I thought this song was about a beauty of Spring time. At the time, I couldn't catch the words and I didn't know where to search the lyric.

Once I knew about Google, I searched the lyric and found this below.....

When I was small and Christmas trees were tall
We used to love while others used to play
Don't ask me why, but time has passed us by
Someone else moved in from far away

Now we are tall and Christmas trees are small
And you don't ask the time of day
But you and I, our love will never die
But guess we'll cry come first of May

The apple tree that grew for you and me
I watched the apples falling one by one
And I recall the moment of them all
The day I kissed your cheek and you were gone

Now we are tall and Christmas trees are small
And you don't ask the time of day
But you and I, our love will never die
But guess we'll cry come first of May

When I was small and Christmas trees were tall
Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do

Don't ask me why, but time has passed us by
Someone else moved in from far away
My first reaction???? Where was the first of May? I read again from above....oh, there it was....mentioned only twice.

Next reaction??? Confused......what was the correlation between first of May and those Christmas trees and those apple trees and a love story that ended badly......haizzzzzzz.....spring season should be about sweet things.....the story above made me feeling blue, once I knew about the lyric. And the ending, which was let floated and faded away, made it worse....

But, you know, everytime I hear the song starts, I always can feel the sweetness in it.....the romance in the air....hmmmm....oh, okay...I still love this song by BeeGees....hihihi....

....when I was small, and the Christmas trees were tall, do do do do do do.........

Shopping Spree (3): A Great Regret

This is the hardest thing for me to write about. I still feel the remorse. This is the rare moment when I wish that I could turn back the time and change my option......

For several years, I had spent my money to be able to buy a newest laptop with a big specification fit for design purposes. Of course, I also waited for the decreasing of laptop's price, which did happen each year....hehehe... I did have a laptop in my hands, the early generation of M-Pentium of Compaq Presario that needed a memory upgrading for design purposes, but was still very okay to office works and chatting. And this is the source of my deep regret for this last and biggest shopping spree.

Last year, I found out that I had saved enough money to make my dreams come true.....yes, dreams....not just one.... And so I went and bought some new wardrobe (no, I didn't and won't write about this...hihihi...), a new printer, a new cellphone.....and.....

One day at the end of February, I went to a hightech mall to visit a computer expo there. I didn't have any purposes but just browsed. Then, my eyes and interests was caught on a Lenovo product. The price is quite nice with a quite high specification, higher than average. But still, its memory wasn't as high as I wanted. Realized what I looked for, the sales person offered me an alternative. The harddisk capacity was lower, but its memory was four times higher than the Lenovo.....and the price was lower.... Whaaammm....I had the money, I saw my dream in front of me.....and I became blinded.....

Back at home, after some hours later, I kind of woke up from a dream and started to re-trace my step. I realized that my need of a new laptop wasn't that urgent. That I preferred to have ready fund in my bank, rather than good and shiny things in my hands. That buying this laptop made me had to re-consider my other plans, such as family vacations.

But what is done had done. Now, I have a new laptop......at least, I had a dream come true....hehehe.... I have to use this laptop as I planned to....install some designing software and get started......first, a plan for my own house make-over. And I've been also re-starting saving hard....to fulfill my other dreams.... Hopefully, I will be able to achieve that in the next two years.......

Stylish? Me? Gee...thank you so much, Mbak! It is always so nice to be appreciated....:-).
This year, I've been trying to increase my writing frequency. I have a final part of material that still need a huge courage from myself to write and share it to others. Also, I've been concentrating in re-arranging the outlook of my page. For the last one, I asked my brother to help me out, because I couldn't understand this machine language....hahaha... So, if anyone notice a sudden change on my page, it's not ME!!! hehehe...

Back to the award, there's some rules in receiving this award :
Thank and link back the person who gave you this award.
Share 7 things about yourself.
Award at least 5 great bloggers you know.
Contact those bloggers and tell them about the award.

Seven, drink soda to cheer myself up.....of course, after that I will suffer from gastroenteritis...hahaha....

Next rule.....I am presenting this award to Stardust, Dominick,......who else? Yikes, I couldn't find anyone else but Mbak Fida.....hehehe.... Does it mean that I'm not eligible to receive this award, huh? hiks.....you've read those 7 things about myself....huaaaaaaaaaa....

Shopping Spree (2): Printer

For a very long time, I hadn't had any printer at home. Only a laptop. Well, I did have one before. It was a very ancient Canon BJ-200 which came altogether with my first PC. When I changed my PC with a laptop and a much higher system, the printer system couldn't keep up with it. So, I gave it to my brother when he asked for it. I didn't buy any replacement, because :

  1. I rarely needed to print anything at home. If I did need to print something, it wasn't so urgent, that I could do it from my office instead
  2. I had a plan to replace the laptop with a brand new one, and at the time purchasing a new laptop will get a printer as well.

I changed my mind lately, because my little one needed to have a printer ready at home for his homework more and more. Sometimes, he would need it for the next day, so I won't have any time to do it at work. Furthermore, the printers I have at work are very moody.....they would act badly whenever I need to print things urgently....hehehe...

I went to a high-tech mall and browsed some printer stores. I was looking for any modified printer, so I could refill the inks easily without have to change its cartridges. Actually, I was quite attracted with a new product of Epson which has the modified system I wanted. Of course, this is a legal modifying. Too bad, the price is still too high for me....hehehe... So, regretfully I chose an Epson T-13 printer modified by an independent store....

Hmmmm, maybe I'll recommend the new product of Epson when my boss give me a permission to buy a new printer....hehehe....

Shopping Spree (1): Cellphone

People says that first love is unforgettable. It is true!

My first cellphone was a Siemens C-35. It was even not a new one. My sister handed it over to me. I used the phone for several years, until I had to buy a new phone due to a battery problem. I tried Phillips and Motorola products. And during that time, my longing to go back using a Siemens product was intensified. That's why when my last phone (a Motorola product at the time) needed to replace, I bought a Siemens A-31. Not a high-tech type, because for me a cellphone is just a phone. I use it mainly for phoning and exchanging sms, so people could contact me easily anytime and anywhere. I remember how I felt after bought that Siemens A-31....so relieved, like I came home at last....

That's why I was so broken-hearted when once again I met the inevitable thing. I had to replace my overdue, beloved, five years old cellphone. What made me broken-hearted was that there weren't any new Siemens or Benq-Siemens products launched at my city. In fact, there aren't any of their sales agents available here anymore. So, I started to hunt another brand that could compete my liking towards the Siemens product and (of course) fit in with my budget....hehehe... Do you know that I need two months to do the hunting? hihihi...it is true!!! I bought a couple of cellphone journals, browsed the web to find out and compare the fiturs and prices of each product. And I had done it since last December...hehehe...

Why was it so hard for me to choose? Mainly, because the trend in cellphones nowadays is in Blackberry stereotype. Whereas I don't like the qwerty pad (too wide on my palm), nor do I like the touch screen type (my finger isn't that sensitive...nor that patient....hihihi...). I still want the classic type, either candy bar or - if there's no other alternative - sliding. And I really hoped that the price was still under IDR 1,000,000. So, when a friend suggested this brand of Sony-Ericsson, I had some doubts. Because as far as I knew, the price of their products were over than one millions. Nevertheless, I hunted its official website to find out more.

The first thing I like about the product I finally bought, was that it supported the Green Earth Program. I just hope that they said the truth....hehehe... Then I saw the model (still in the website) and I liked what I saw. And its fiturs.....and more, its price!!! Of course laaaahhhh.....hehehe... So, on the fifth Saturday of January, during the second week of my shopping spree, I dropped by to the Sony-Ericsson Gallery to find out more and see the real thing, before finally decided to buy it.

Here it is......

Sony-Ericsson Cedar J108i, with 3G connection that's supported by my SIM Card, 2.0 MP Camera (which I had already tried and sent it to my sister using the MMS....hey, it's the first time for me using MMS...hihihi!), and a one-way-video-call (hmmmm.....I can't wait to try it...hihihi....). With its 2 GB external memory, now I could save many memorable messages and move it to another place to keep it exist for a looooooooong time...hehehe...

So, I'm now a proud owner of a SE Cedar. Hopefully, it would last for many years....because, really, it's so much bother have to move all of data from the old place to the new one!!!

PS.: I'm still mourning about my first love....don't know when I will be able to own one again in future....hiks...

My Resolution for 2011

Twenty one days has gone by this year. Yet, I've been too busy to sit down and think about the past and the future. No, not just at work...hehehe...my so-called social life also drained most of my energy, so whenever there was time, I preferred to go to sleep....hehehe...

Okay, I also used my full schedule to stall the time, so I don't have to think and plan anything. But, then, it's not me. I'm the person who prefer to get organized the moment my eyes open in the morning, no matter the plan would run or delay, or even ruin altogether. So, here I am....had finished my task for the day, with 30 minutes left before the closing time...and have already got bored playing on-line games (pssssttt.....hihihi...!). And all of the thoughts about this new year came flooding my brain......

So, what do I want to do during this year?
  1. Write for my personal blog more often
  2. Start thinking to build my own business
  3. Visiting ancient architecture places in Indonesia
  4. Learn more about photography
  5. Making passport for an abroad holiday
Yikes, the first month is almost over!!! Ohhh, but I still need more time to sleep.....let's talk again about it tomorrow.......zzzzzzzz....

My Christmas Wish

I couldn't remember when was the last time I made any wishes at Christmas time. Christmas wishes are for children, first of all. Then, for years, I have spent weeks before Christmas preparing for the church choir. So, at Christmas Eve, I always focused on the Mass and after that I was so busy with family gatherings. That's why I was rather startled when a friend asked what my wish was this year.

I did a quick assessment about what I had thought and wanted to do next year. Then I gave this answer to my friend..... I wish for some lights......

Yes, lights.....like lamp or candle....things that allow you to see things around you.

Last year, I found out that I would never again fit to work for other people. The present job I got is the nearest thing to my preference, because it allows me so much independence in organizing my tasks without have to answer to many people. But during this year I also found that I really had to start my own business, so I will have a bigger independence in managing my working time to fit in with my family needs. I had had some discussion with my family and friends about it. The most difficult thing is to find out and decide what kind of business I want to build.

As a starter, I need a business that I could run by myself. I don't think I could give any commands to other people and supervise his work....hehehe....my long time of professional working told me that.....

Then, I need to find some business that won't tie me in any certain place and working time. A little boy in my care and Mom are the two most important persons in my life now, and I prefer to be there whenever they need me, or whenever I think they need me.

I also need to find a business that I like to do for hours and days. I am afraid that I don't have a strong ambition. So, I really hope that my liking towards what I do will help me to hang on.

I really hope that I could make a first step to build my own business next year. And till this day, I still couldn't decide what I want to build. That's why I need some lights, to help me to see clearly. Maybe the signs have already been there, and I need a stronger beam for my eyes to see it.....hihihi....reminded me of a funny movie titled BRUCE ALMIGHTY..... No, seriously.....I really need the lights.... And I hope God will be willing to grant me this, as He has generously granted my other wishes these past years. Amen.

(*) dedicated for Mr. Shoes who had reminded me of Christmas wishes and magic

HARPITNAS

I've been trying to search the English term for that title above, but no result. I guess this term only exists in Indonesian....hehehe...

HARPITNAS, the shortened form of Hari Kecepit Nasional, is the favourite term of Indonesian people - especially the workers - to describe one working day sandwiched between two holiday. For example, if Friday is a holiday, then for most of Indonesian workers who work 6 days a week, Saturday is HARPITNAS, because the next day, Sunday, is a holiday again.

Yesterday, Monday, Dec 6, was a big HARPITNAS for me. I had been off-duty since Friday. No, it wasn't a public holiday. I took a leave on that day to help Mom cleaning the house from the water that flooded into the first floor of our house during the night before. The rain was very hard, so the flood was quite high that could come inside my high-placed house.

Then, came Saturday which was my official off-duty day. Next, Sunday....which is a public holiday. Three holidays.....

After that, came Monday....yesterday, which I saw with a gloomy mood...hahaha... I wished I could take a day-off, too, that day....since the next day - today - is a holiday again. Imagine, 5 days in holidays!!! What a nice wish!

But I couldn't do that, my too-conscientious-mind couldn't allow that....hehehe... First of all, there are many regular things to be done on Mondays. Then, I also expected a huge backlog of works, because I was off since Friday. And it was all happened! Once I came into my workspace, I saw several notes on my desk, waiting for my attention which actually was left at home and still enjoying the holiday....hahaha... So, I had to push myself very hard to finish all of my duties and tried not to look at the clock most of the time....hehehe....

It worked...maybe too much...because at the end of day, I was so dizzy and suffered a huge a headache. Thank God for another chance to sleep till late in the morning today.....hahaha...

And now....it is Tuesday night, but it feels like Sunday night...yikes!!!! Thankfully, there would be only 4 days before next Sunday, instead the usual 6 days....hahaha.... That's the good side of HARPITNAS....hehehe....

To Sleep or Not To Sleep

Sleeping is one of the resting activities I enjoy mostly. It costs me no money at all. I get a refreshed eyes (the state of my mind is rarely included in the result....hehehe...). And the boring time will surely fly so fast...especially if the work bores me to death....hehehe...

My preference to sleep is at my own bedroom and on my own bed, of course. But, I also could sleep during my working hours, especially during a very hot day or when I have no working mood at all. Of course, I always make sure that the boss or my colleagues aren't available in the office at the first place....hehehe... Where will I sleep while I'm at work? Well, there are several places to be chosen. I could sleep on my primary desk (primary? wait.....read on...) Or I could close my eyes for a moment while I works in front of the computer (that's another working space of mine....). Or, if the day is very hot, I'll move to the meeting room next door, close the connecting door, turn on the AC and zzzzzzz...... Now, could you count how many are my working spaces actually? hehehe....

The funniest thing in my sleeping habit is the alarm inside my brain. It could recognise whether I'm in holiday or not. Whenever I'm in holiday, my body will cry out asking for a napping time on midday. Otherwise, I could survive thoroughly till late in the evening. But, whether I'm in working days or not, I could never wake up later than till 7am in the morning, no matter how late I go to bed in the previous night. So, for instance on New Year's eve....eventhough I just go to bed after 2am, I will be waken up at 7am. Of course, after take a bath and have some breakfast, I would go back to sleep till after midday, then waken up again and have some lunch,......and sleep again till late afternoon....hahaha...

Have I ever had any trouble to sleep? Of course! Especially when there's something going around and around inside my mind....about my work or about my personal problems that I couldn't share with anyone at all. Sometimes, I just couldn't sleep without any reason at all. And how I deal with it? Many ways, from turn on the TV and watch some interesting movie, till the final act : praying Rosary. The primary goal is trying to shut down my mind from thinking at all, otherwise I couldn't get enough sleep and all hell will break loose next day....hehehe....

Oooooaaaaaaahhhhhheeeeeemmmmm.....I'm so sleepy already right now and couldn't think anymore......so, good night, everyone....wish you all a restful sleep and sweet dreams...

My New Toy

Meet a new toy I just acquired this month.....

This is Yashica EZ TP-9, my first digital camera...

Is it silly of me to be so proud of this achievement? Hehehe....I had to be patient for several years to be able to buy this thing. Only this year that it had become one of the things that I could buy. Still, I had to wait till this month to be really able to own it. Furthermore, I needed another two weeks to actually buy it....and the brand was not the same as the first I queried.

At first, at the moment I knew that I'd have enough money to buy a digital camera, a sales person of a camera store gave me a different brand fit in with my budget....under IDR 1,0000,000. The second time I queried in detail....at another store....I realised that I still had to buy an external memory card, because the original card inside the camera could only hold max 4 pictures. So, the sales lady suggested the Yashica above, which she guaranteed quite in good qualities....maybe better, because from the value written on it (1:2,8-4,8), according to her, the camera supports pictures taken in a dim light (like indoors or at night) with a good result......nice, isn't it? hehehe...

The most important thing to me was after completing the camera with a 2GB external memory card and a screen guard to protect its touch-screen, the final price was still under IDR 1,000,000....Yay!!!! And I still got the function I wanted: back light mode, red-eye reduction, video recording including voices. More Yay!!!!

Now, I'm ready to play with my new toy anytime......
Hmmm, what's other toys I want to buy next? New cell phone? New laptop?
Hehehehe.....

Blue Jasmine: My Namesake

I barely use my real name in surfing the cyberworld. My most reason is, so I could express myself more freely. Only a few people know the real name behind my ID. But, then that few people are my long time friend, the ones I also know in real world.

After changing name for a few years, I settled with Blue Jasmine as my ID. What kind of name is that? Is it because I'm working in a flower world? That's a couple of common question from my acquaintances.

Actually, I never knew there was really a flower called Blue Jasmine. I just combined the two words. Blue is my favourite colour. Jasmine is my favourite flower. And that combination sounded so romantic in my ears....hahahaha...

Then, later I found a novel in a thrift store. The title was Blue Jasmine, written by Violet Winspear. OMG!!!! There IS a flower called Blue Jasmine!!!! And....ehem....it's quite a romantic story, that novel....hehehehe....

Immediately, I searched for any picture of Blue Jasmine, but couldn't find the clear and good one at that time. And that's why I used a Blue Rose as my icon.....hehehe....

Tonight, I finally found a very pretty picture of Blue Jasmine. And starting from now, I'll use the new picture as my icon. Thank you for any person at www.eyefetch.com who had uploaded the nice and beautiful photo of the pretty flower!

Magic Cubes

I have been knowing about this particular game for a very long time....maybe in my senior high school years. This is one of the game I don't enjoy, just because I couldn't understand how to finish it completely...hehehe... The most I could get is a same color only in ONE side, and that's after getting headache in twisting and twisting the cube for what it seems an eternity....hahaha...

Once, I listened to a friend explaining the rules to finish it. She showed us how to play it. Sadly, after two sentences, I couldn't grasp what she meant....hahaha.... I missed the rest of her explanation in a buff.....hahaha....! All I could understood was twisted to here, than twisted back to the original place.

Okay, I thought, so the rule of the game was theoritically simple. You just have to figure out which box you want to move where, and rotate the line till you get to the right position. But you also must not forget how many moves you have done to take the line back into the original position. And THAT what's so difficult for me.....after two moves, I couldn't remember what I had done!!!! I couldn't re-trace my step....hehehe.... And that's only to finish on one side. When I move to work on another side, all of my hard work before become undone again....hehehe...made me very frustated!!! Okay, I give up!!! I have no brain for this kind of game!!!

Do you???
